Editing an exercise

Bilateral exercises

Bilateral exercises, or those done separately for the right and left sides are supported by Intervals Lite. Tap the Bilateral exercise checkbox to enable. Then choose

By default, bilateral exercises start on the right side. Select the Start left checkbox to start on the left side.

Add or edit a description, photo, or web site

Tapping the ICON allows you to add or edit a description for the exercise.

Adding a description to an exercise

On newer iPhones and iPads, Live text can be used to scan text into your exercise description. Use a long press on the description field. Tap the    (as seen above) ICON to start (Apple calls this Live text).

Position the camera over the text until the portion of text you want to import is highlighted as shown below.

Using live text to add a description to an exercise

A photograph or web page can be attached to an exercise. Tap the ICON to start. As shown below, you have a choice of getting a photo from your photo library, or taking a photo with your device's camera.

Using live text to add a description to an exercise

If you choose to save any photos you take with the camer to the photo library, the Photos app can be used to crop or modify the photo.

Shortcuts and Gestures

Swipe right or left
While paused, swiping right will switch to the previous exercise. Swiping left advances to the next exercise.
Swipe right or left while editing an exercise will move to the next or previous exercise
Long press
On the description area brings up a menu of options; including live text   
Return
Move between the various text fields
