The Mosaic tab automatically displays the mosaic created from the photograph selected in the Original tab.

From the Mosaic tab, the following (and more) can be done:
Tapping to the left of the slider will decrease the number of colors by 1. Tapping to the right of the slider will increase the number of colors by one.
A long press on to the left of the slider will set the number of colors to the minimum. A long press on the right of the slider will set the number of colors to the maximum.

When using iOS 11 on an iPad, you can drag your mosaic to apps that also support drag and drop.

Tap (action button) at the upper left of the screen to share your mosaic.

Depending which social media networks you have accounts on, you will see a list of various options for sharing your mosaic.
Typical sharing options
Of particular interest is the EMail option. When it is selected and you have limited the number of colors in the mosaic, Color Hints Mosaic will create an annotated mosaic and send it in EMail you compose. In addition, a color key index for the annotated matrix will also be included.

It will be followed by a four page version of your mosaic. Each tile has a color index printed on it. Each page looks something like this:

To print a mosaic, start by tapping (action button) at the upper left of the screen. On the action sheet that appears, tap
If color limits are OFF, then print will just produce a four page poster of your mosaic with no annotations
Tap (action button) at the upper left of the screen to print a poster of the mosaic. From the action sheet that appears, tap . Choose the desired size for your poster. Color Hints Mosaic will layout your poster to print as few pages as possible, but still achieve the desired poster size.

The last step is to choose a printer and the number of copies of the poster you wish to print.

A Coloring Book looks like the print out of an annotated mosaic, except that the mosaic tiles are left blank for someone to color in. Create a Coloring Book as follows:
Tap (action button) at the upper left of the screen to send a mosaic to Color Hints. From the action sheet that appears, tap .
Printing will produce a table of colors as seen above, and a page that looks like this:

Alternatively, the coloring book can be printed with a small color dot in each tile, or with a lightly shaded version of the color in each tile.

Note: Sending a mosaic to Color Hints is only available if you have the Color Hints app installed on your device.
Tap (action button) at the upper left of the screen to send a mosaic to Color Hints. From the action sheet that appears, tap . Color Hints will launch and import the mosaic into a Swatch collection titled "Mosaic". The collection will be created if need be.

Note: Sending a mosaic to QuiltSandwich is only available if you have the QuiltSandwich app installed on your device.
Tap (action button) at the upper left of the screen to send a mosaic to QuiltSandwich. From the action sheet that appears, tap . Apps capable of sharing with Color Hints Mosaic will appear on the next action sheet. .
Tap on the QuiltSandwich button . Your iPhone or iPad will switch to QuiltSandwich and import the mosaic as shown below.
